Our little man has arrived... a little bit about that day

I'm writing this here on our family blog to always remember what a crazy day it was when my little man decided to make his entrance and how unprepared I was! I'm pretty sure my blog is only read by me and my husband... lol..., so I'm doing this for us with the intention of printing our family blog someday!

Carden Mckoy Barnes arrived Tuesday, November 29th at 4:03 P.M., weighing 7 pounds and 13 ounces and 20 inches long. We made a last minute decision for an inducement on December 1st (what I thought I didn't want, but then realized a few days before my due date that an inducement is what I needed, since I'm a detailed/planned kind of person... hahaha), since it didn't look like I was changing very much from week to week (Monday's) at my Doctor appointments! We needed to have a few details underway with him coming, for family coming and family taking care of the girls, so we could have picked the Tuesday or Thursday. Thinking Thursday would be the most ideal with it closer to a weekend we took it and booked it for 4:00 A.M.. We were able to choose from 2, 3 and 4 in the morning for both days... ridiculous times... how are you suppose to sleep when you have to arrive for an inducement with times like those!? It's going to be hard enough sleeping knowing you are going to be induced let alone times like those! Well, the inducement never happen, the little guy had a different idea! I never imagined that my water would ever break like you hear people talk about... and it did around 4:00 A.M. Tuesday morning!! I guess we should have taken the Tuesday after all, that's the day he wanted to come :)!
