HAVEN'S 6 MONTHS... OH ME OH MY

Haven Joy Joy as of lately, likes to try to sit up (can't by herself yet) and pull herself up from lying down! Today she can start fruit, but we have failed still to give her the greens (peas and green beans)! So, we will hold off for awhile with those fruits until she has tried all her veggies. She has been really ornery lately with all the teeth she has been getting :( and seems to always have her fingers in her mouth teething. Last month i forgot to mention that she was getting her eye teeth they just hadn't broke through the gums yet! They have broken through awhile ago now and also, as of Saturday has started to get her first top left tooth. We realized that her other teeth that we thought were eye teeth aren't, they are the teeth next to her front teeth! So, she has had a lot of teeth brake through lately! Poor girl!

Here are a bunch of random pictures...

IT'S OFFICIAL...

Just found out yesterday from my parents that my Brother Elder Tyson John Hamren will be coming home TUESDAY JUNE 2ND! Tyson heard rumor that he might be able to make it home by Mothers Day, but what it turns out that that's not happening! I'm excited to think of the reunion of him coming home, but yet it makes me sad that my little Haven will be 1, 13 days from that day! So, in essence it seems so soon that he will be coming home, but yet that is the whole time my baby Haven has been born, making it seem like forever away!

These photos Tyson sent me a couple of days before Haven was born, letting me know how excited he is for me and how he wishes he could come chill at the hospital. He wanted to know the date, so he could mark it in his agenda, and know what was going on and happening that day way back at home. I thought that was cool that even though he was serving his mish and couldn't be part this was his way of being part!

My Mom always thought Tyson looked like this smiling picture of Christ, and i too think their smile is similar in this picture.

Tyson asked me when he first arrived in Guatemala for some pictures of Jared (my Brother-In-Law) and some of Del Parson's art in an e-mail. So, i sent him some in e-mail he must of printed them off, don't know how he did that there?)... and look he's holding their pictures of Christ on his agenda... how cool is that?

Ty, mentioned that this is the way they carry there kids... he said "Guatemala baby style" and he would have to teach me when he gets home. I think that's kind of funny because that's actually what i need and exactly what i've wanted to buy.

This is a picture message Tyson sent me around 09/11/06 when he was trying to decide what to do with his life before the mission. He writes, "hope's advice and counsel about life and the mission... It's her words of motivation to me. :) lol- She's too cute." So, this is my little Hope who had just turned 3, singing to Tyson. He recorded her on his cell phone and attached this temple pic. with her voice in the background... make sure to mute my music at the bottom... it's way too cute to miss!

LOVE YA TY

FANTASY FROST DANCE PERFORMANCE

Hope and Halle had their Christmas dance concert on Saturday, and it was the cutest thing to see! Hope performed here last year, so she kind of knew the run around of things and was able to help watch out for Halle, since this was Halle's 1st time! I wasn't sure how Halle would do on stage all by herself, but she did GREAT! They actually combined a couple of classes together for this one dance, which they had never practiced with everyone, so i was curious to see how Halle would handle it (all the people, the lights and being on stage for the 1st time) and what she would do...? She just danced and a couple of times bumped into people and then would look around like how did they get there?... it was cute. It almost looked at one time like she was doing a little solo, she was definitely comfortable and in her own world! Hope did a GREAT job too, they combined her class too with others and had never practiced it that way. Her tap shoe actually came off during her dance, but she handled it like a pro... just kept tapping and then when the dance was over slid the shoe on, no hands needed! Hope and Halle had only been taught the dance 2 dance classes before the performance... so i was amazed that they were able to remember any of it. I guess it really doesn't matter what they do on stage they always look so dang cute! Hope the other day told Justin and I that she didn't want to go to dance class anymore... so i asked her why? She said, "Because i just want to be on stage!" Hahah... Justin told her "Well, you have to go to dance class to learn and practice, before you can go on stage." Hope's a funny girl, and hasn't complained again!

Santa was at the Heritage Center where their concert was held at, so after we got a picture taken... i was surprised we got one with all of them smiling!

Santa asked the girls what they wanted and Halle said candy... she probably saw the candy canes sitting next to him... and thought candy not "What do you want for Christmas?" Hope blurted out a reindeer... probably because there was reindeer next to him... and Santa kind of stumbled and said "Well i'm not sure i can give you one because we use real reindeer's at the north pole, and i'm not sure the elves can make a real one, but we will see what the elves can make (at least i think that's what he said)!" So, once we were in the car Hope looked a little sad, so i asked her what was wrong? She wanted to know if that was the real Santa Claus and she didn't mean to say that she wanted a reindeer, she thought a toy one, and anyways was worried about what he thought. So, i told her Santa knows what you meant and what's in your heart. I told ya she is one funny girl and my little Halle would trade anything for gum or candy!

I CAN'T BELIEVE HAVEN'S ALREADY FIVE MONTHS

I realized a couple days ago that i didn't blog on the 15th (which i try to always do, since that's the day Haven turns a month older) it always seems to come so quick! Before it gets any later in the month i just wanted to give an update about her! She's started baby food (only squash and sweet potatoes that is) she actually gobbles it up, unlike her plain rice cereal that always seems to escape from her mouth! We've only been doing half a #1, on the chart i have from the pediatrician we can give her all of it by the 4th day, which we haven't been doing! To me she just seems to little to eat all of that!! Anyways enough about baby food... Haven loves i mean loves to grab everything especially what we are eating and drinking, she seems to know now that she's tried food that we have the good stuff! She's started this month to grab her feet and now likes to eat her toes, funny girl :o! I was thinking today that i can't believe she is almost 1/2 a year old... 1/2 a year... my baby! Blah, i have to stop thinking about that or that will make me cry! Goodness i just love her sooo much, my children fill my life up with so much joy! Here are some pictures from our trip to SLC, a while ago before Halloween!

My bald baby!

Hope and Halle swinging on the porch of a large playhouse, in the backyard of my Aunt Shannon's backyard!

I know my roots were way bad... i try to go as long as i can, because it costs way too much to get it done! I went as long as i could and now it's done!

Hope didn't want to take another picture, she didn't want everyone else that was with us to leave her! So, she started to cry we told her stop crying and then you can go... and this is the pic we got!

THE KIDS WERE OFF TO BED...

SO, I DECIDED TO WATCH THE CMA'S...EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS PLENTY OF OTHER THINGS TO BE DOING! BUT, THERE'S ALWAYS PLENTY TO DO... SO, I SAT AND WATCHED AND THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE JUST IN CASE ANYONE ELSE DIDN'T STOP TO WATCH BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING MORE PRODUCTIVE AND HAD BETTER THINGS TO BE DOING... HAHA!
This song (Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood) gave me the chills tonight, i had never heard it before until i heard her sing it on the CMA's! I love how much emotion she had while she was singing.......ohhh i loved it! You need to pause my music on the bottom to hear it though!

I also like the song Love that Sugarland performed, but couldn't find it to add. Thank goodness i recorded the CMA's on my dvr, so i was able to fast forward through the 3 hour show and just watch the stuff i liked! Good times!!!

Some more funny and cute pictures!

Mean Witch

Nice Witch

(You can click on each picture to make them larger, so you can actually see the cute expressions they have on their faces!)

We went trick-or-treating with Nick, Jeanine and little Sadie... who was the little chicken. It went quite well, Hope was the little leader plugging along, then little Halle right behind her and Sadie was the little caboose! We later had Jaelyn, Greg and Kirra trail along for a bit. It was fun to see Sadie and Kirra go up to the door after Hope and Halle, knowing to hold out their pumpkin buckets and then they would get some treats... CUTE, CUTE!

(Thanks Jeanine for the picture... since again i don't have my pictures downloaded!)

ELDER DUSTIN JOHN HAMREN

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY DUSSY! This post is for my little Brother Dustin who is serving a mission in West Virgina/well now Virgina, just thinking of you today on your birthday! I hope you are able to read this when it's your e-mail day on Wednesday. I went through some pictures that you've sent us in e-mails that i wanted to add to our family blog. Just wanted to let you know we miss you and we are so proud of you and i can't believe you are almost to your year mark... isn't it a year November 14th? I really admire you and have thought how strong you must be and close to your Heavenly Father to be able to do what you do day in and day out for two years! I know it must take a lot a faith, trust and prayer. Just remember (even though i'm your sister) as a girls perspective how attractive serving a mission is! The dedication it takes to serve and Dussy when you get home you are going to be major marriage material, what every girl is looking for!
LOVE YA DUS!

Your mission call just arrived in the mail!

Playing games at Hope's 4th birthday party!

Driving to the MTC with the whole family in the van!

At the MTC, where you've just received your missionary badge! Mom taking pictures of your brand new badge!
