ANOTHER MONTH HAS COME AGAIN...
Today my little Haven is the big 7 months! We just had her 6 month check up yesterday and she got the usual rounds of immunizations, so all night she had a fever! Poor baby :( teething and shots, not fun! She weighs 18 lbs, which is in the 75th percentile. Her height is in the 90th percentile, so she's my long baby. The other news this month is she loves to sit up, also has mastered turning in circles while lying on her belly (trying to reach everything) and now has started to scoot backwards while on her tummy too! She absolutely loves sleeping on her belly, we always put her on her back to sleep, but soon after wakes up to roll over to her belly! She sleeps more peaceful and longer if you just leave her on her belly! As far as teeth go she has both top teeth now, and is getting a new bottom tooth right next to her front bottom left tooth! We've been trying to figure out what her deal is all month with being whiny. We thought maybe she was constipated from all the banana's now in her diet, but just yesterday realized the white bump in her mouth! Also, we've tried all the veggies and finally started the fruits she's now tried banana's and just started applesauce yesterday. When she tried banana's it was the 1st time she's ever made a face to any baby food... even the nasty green beans didn't spark a face out of her. But, she made a sour face to the banana's and shook her head like she had the chills! She did it every time, so we started to mix it into her rice cereal to mask the strong taste... and she took to it just fine! Even if you do a bite of plain rice cereal and then follow with a bite of banana's, she makes the face like it's gross. The trick is to mix it all together, and she gobbles it up! Feeding bubba's consumes a lot more of my day now, more than it used to... i feel i've now just graduated from baby feeding school! Who's to say i didn't finish college. I just transferred from SUU, to home school myself. I decided on a master's in child development/care/feeding and a minor in laundry! I'll tell you what Motherhood has been the hardest, never-ending learning experience of my life, but i wouldn't trade it for the world! I've earned my title as "Mama Joy" as Halle likes to call me and i'm proud of it!
Loves to move and reach everything on her belly!
Haven got this new little mesh food holder for Christmas, that we put carrots in and she teethes on. We've also tried putting a banana chunk in there and it mushed out of the little holes... she liked that for a minute and then didn't want it anymore! We'll have to try a frozen banana chunk, i bet that would feel good on the gums. She's just not into the banana thing... i wonder who she gets that from??
This is the best sour face i could get of her trying banana's out for the 1st time. The camera didn't catch it as good because she was moving, but we got some video footage!
My big girl sitting up...
She loves her new little toy box we got her, she loves to pull out all the toys then eat the rope on the box! Go figure... she has all these cool toys and she plays with the rope on the box?
Now she loves Daddy's invention of mixing the banana's in the rice cereal... it's a better mixture than the plain rice cereal by itself and, also the strong banana's by itself. It's a happy medium!
The new JUMPEROO, we just couldn't resist this fun activity center for her and it's also like a Johnny-Jump-Up! We have one of those that we used for the other girls, but you have to hang it from a door way and it never looked very comfy! I realized they sold this new JUMPEROO when Halle was a baby, but thought it would take up too much space and we already had a Johnny-Jump-Up. So, we never bought it. Now with baby #3 we though a little exersaucer thingy would be nice to keep her busy, since the JUMPEROO is both things in one it just made sense that we should buy it. If only i would have realized that with baby #2, i would have really got my $'s worth!
You can see all 6 teeth in this picture, her 7th one is still too small to see.
Belly heaven...

HAVEN'S 6 MONTHS... OH ME OH MY
Haven Joy Joy as of lately, likes to try to sit up (can't by herself yet) and pull herself up from lying down! Today she can start fruit, but we have failed still to give her the greens (peas and green beans)! So, we will hold off for awhile with those fruits until she has tried all her veggies. She has been really ornery lately with all the teeth she has been getting :( and seems to always have her fingers in her mouth teething. Last month i forgot to mention that she was getting her eye teeth they just hadn't broke through the gums yet! They have broken through awhile ago now and also, as of Saturday has started to get her first top left tooth. We realized that her other teeth that we thought were eye teeth aren't, they are the teeth next to her front teeth! So, she has had a lot of teeth brake through lately! Poor girl!
Here are a bunch of random pictures...

IT'S OFFICIAL...
Just found out yesterday from my parents that my Brother Elder Tyson John Hamren will be coming home TUESDAY JUNE 2ND! Tyson heard rumor that he might be able to make it home by Mothers Day, but what it turns out that that's not happening! I'm excited to think of the reunion of him coming home, but yet it makes me sad that my little Haven will be 1, 13 days from that day! So, in essence it seems so soon that he will be coming home, but yet that is the whole time my baby Haven has been born, making it seem like forever away!
These photos Tyson sent me a couple of days before Haven was born, letting me know how excited he is for me and how he wishes he could come chill at the hospital. He wanted to know the date, so he could mark it in his agenda, and know what was going on and happening that day way back at home. I thought that was cool that even though he was serving his mish and couldn't be part this was his way of being part!
My Mom always thought Tyson looked like this smiling picture of Christ, and i too think their smile is similar in this picture.
Tyson asked me when he first arrived in Guatemala for some pictures of Jared (my Brother-In-Law) and some of Del Parson's art in an e-mail. So, i sent him some in e-mail he must of printed them off, don't know how he did that there?)... and look he's holding their pictures of Christ on his agenda... how cool is that?
Ty, mentioned that this is the way they carry there kids... he said "Guatemala baby style" and he would have to teach me when he gets home. I think that's kind of funny because that's actually what i need and exactly what i've wanted to buy.
This is a picture message Tyson sent me around 09/11/06 when he was trying to decide what to do with his life before the mission. He writes, "hope's advice and counsel about life and the mission... It's her words of motivation to me. :) lol- She's too cute." So, this is my little Hope who had just turned 3, singing to Tyson. He recorded her on his cell phone and attached this temple pic. with her voice in the background... make sure to mute my music at the bottom... it's way too cute to miss!
LOVE YA TY

FANTASY FROST DANCE PERFORMANCE
Hope and Halle had their Christmas dance concert on Saturday, and it was the cutest thing to see! Hope performed here last year, so she kind of knew the run around of things and was able to help watch out for Halle, since this was Halle's 1st time! I wasn't sure how Halle would do on stage all by herself, but she did GREAT! They actually combined a couple of classes together for this one dance, which they had never practiced with everyone, so i was curious to see how Halle would handle it (all the people, the lights and being on stage for the 1st time) and what she would do...? She just danced and a couple of times bumped into people and then would look around like how did they get there?... it was cute. It almost looked at one time like she was doing a little solo, she was definitely comfortable and in her own world! Hope did a GREAT job too, they combined her class too with others and had never practiced it that way. Her tap shoe actually came off during her dance, but she handled it like a pro... just kept tapping and then when the dance was over slid the shoe on, no hands needed! Hope and Halle had only been taught the dance 2 dance classes before the performance... so i was amazed that they were able to remember any of it. I guess it really doesn't matter what they do on stage they always look so dang cute! Hope the other day told Justin and I that she didn't want to go to dance class anymore... so i asked her why? She said, "Because i just want to be on stage!" Hahah... Justin told her "Well, you have to go to dance class to learn and practice, before you can go on stage." Hope's a funny girl, and hasn't complained again!
Santa was at the Heritage Center where their concert was held at, so after we got a picture taken... i was surprised we got one with all of them smiling!
Santa asked the girls what they wanted and Halle said candy... she probably saw the candy canes sitting next to him... and thought candy not "What do you want for Christmas?" Hope blurted out a reindeer... probably because there was reindeer next to him... and Santa kind of stumbled and said "Well i'm not sure i can give you one because we use real reindeer's at the north pole, and i'm not sure the elves can make a real one, but we will see what the elves can make (at least i think that's what he said)!" So, once we were in the car Hope looked a little sad, so i asked her what was wrong? She wanted to know if that was the real Santa Claus and she didn't mean to say that she wanted a reindeer, she thought a toy one, and anyways was worried about what he thought. So, i told her Santa knows what you meant and what's in your heart. I told ya she is one funny girl and my little Halle would trade anything for gum or candy!
