DANCE PERFORMANCES AND EASTER TIME...

Dance Magic's Practice Preview at Canyon View Middle School... thanks for all the fam that came out!

I thought this was so cute... Haven fell asleep waiting for lunch on Easter Sunday! We were running a little late with lunch, because of conference being on and all the Easter excitement, that she tuckered out right before lunch was ready! She was waiting so patiently...

Grandma Jocey likes to do a little Easter egg hunt with the grand kids... this time it was inside, because of the cold weather...

Numbers are inside the plastic eggs that correspond to certain gifts that await in Grandma's basket! Thanks Grandma for your effort and fun times!

My Brother Tyson brought back some Easter gifts from my Mom... some extra large gifts awaited the kids from Grandma Glori! Thanks Momma for the thoughtful gifts, it means a lot!

We didn't get all dressed up on Easter Sunday, because of General Conference that is a day to stay in our pj's... so this was our attempt the next Sunday to get some cute Easter pictures of the girls!

Our Haven Joy Joy

Our crazy little Halle

Our Hope who is getting more emotional day by day!

Why do they have to grow up so fast?

My attempt at a family picture, boy was it sunny and windy!

I FOUND SOME PICTURES AT...

If anyone read my previous post... I was bummed, because I couldn't show the pictures from my Relief Society blog of the different items and amounts of fruits and vegetables in the "baskets", but I found a fan page on facebook! Which they have pictures of different amounts of fruits and vegetables you get... this is just as good! Take a look I became a fan, so I have the page located in my Info under Pages or it's Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op on facebook! TAKE A LOOK!

SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS...

Our Relief Society has finally made a blog and I went to check it out today and there was a post about Bountiful Baskets... and what a great deal it is! You pay $15 and get a basket of enormous amounts of fruits and vegetables... 50% fruits, 50% vegetables!!! You can choose to do this weekly or every other week... or just when you need it. I found out from our RS blog that you add things to your basket on Mondays at 12:00 P.M. and have until Tuesday at 10 P.M. and pick up is on Saturday! I was so excited to check bountifulbaskets.org out... I sat and called my Dad, Aunt and Mom to tell them all about it while I waited until it was available online! I guess I thought it was a race or something :)!

Here's a little info. from my RS blog which is private... so I hope it's OK that I copied and pasted some great information that made me understand how great of a deal this is! It's too bad I couldn't copy the pictures on the RS blog, because they showed what different items they had received in "baskets" from two different weeks for $15 and some other add ons that you can add on additionally:

The rest of this post is not in my own words it's from my RS blog (Thanks to Kristy who wrote this):
Bountiful Baskets It is a food co-op that allows you to buy high quality produce and other items at prices reserved for restaurants and grocery stores. This is SO much more than you could ever buy at the grocery store for that price. It is also really high quality, very fresh! It's also great because they always give you something a little exotic so your forced to try something you might otherwise not. We've had mangos, jimacas, pummelos, asian pears, cara cara oranges and the list goes on. You never know what you are going to get, but I'll tell you what...we eat a whole lot more fresh produce now and I hardly EVER buy fresh fruits and veggies from the grocery store anymore. BB also offers great bread add ons every week. And it is really good bread. I'm talking 100% Whole Wheat or 9 grain sandwhich bread, Olive Oil loaves, Rye Bread...good stuff!

I think it is SUCH a valuable asset to our community. Cedar City started with one drop site, every other week, in October 2009 and 14 orders. There are currently four sites in the Cedar/Enoch area accommodating I think 100 people each. At least one of them is now open every week. We are hoping to start another site in our neighborhood in the next week or two.

Cedar City has an email group to share recipes for the ingredients we get each week. That is great, but if you like the recipe, you have to save the email or print it out. So I considered starting a new BB food blog, but my hubby suggested I just tweak my recipe blog to fit! So I made a few changes to that blog and voila! It works great! Go to allthatanddinnertoo.blogspot.com to check it out. I went through all the recipes and instead of labeling them as simply containing "veggies" I have labeled specific produce items. So if you get the mexican pack or the italian ingredient pack with your basket, you'll be able to look up items containing specific ingredients. I'm hoping to recruit more contributors (any takers?) to the blog this way as well and get some more healthier recipes there. (There ARE healthy recipes on there, but hopefully this will increase the supply). Plus I'm hoping this will be helpful as it gets closer to gardening season, so if you have zucchini coming out your ears, maybe you can find some ideas there.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

The Hamren side of the family (we aren't missing a single person)... this picture was taken at the Conference Center, right before walking around Temple Square and looking at the beauty of the lights!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween with all the Cousins on the Barnes side! The Ladybug all the way left of the picture is my Halle, next to her is my little Butterfly Haven and next to her is the Twillerbee Thumberlina which is my Hope!

The Ladybug, The Butterfly, The Bear, The Twillerbee Thumbelina, The Flower, The Bee and Princess Cinderella!

The theme this year for my girls were INSECTS... wait I don't think Thumbelina is an insect (Hope says she's a Twillerbee, which I'm not sure what that is, but it has bee in it and that's close enough!), so we will say our theme was we all had "wings"!

MY LITTLE HOPE'S BIRTHDAY IS TODAY AUGUST 31, 2009... SHE IS NOW MY BIG 6 YEAR OLD! SHE HAS NOW LOST HER 1ST TOOTH LAST THURSDAY AND STARTS HER 1ST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN TOMORROW MORNING! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO PREPARE MYSELF FOR THIS BIG DAY, AND KNOW MATTER WHAT IT'S REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN... SHE'S GOING TO BE LEAVING ME AND GROWING UP... I WON'T BE ABLE TO KNOW WHAT'S SHE UP TO AT ALL TIMES ANYMORE! TOMORROW I'LL TAKE HER TO HER FIRST DAY AND PICK HER UP... THEN WE WILL TRY THE BUS THE NEXT DAY, WHICH PICKS UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE (WE WILL FOLLOW THE 1ST TIME ON THE BUS TO SEE THE ROUTINE OF HOW THEY DO IT)! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOPE WE LOVE YOU AND THANKS FOR BEING SUCH A GOOD DAUGHTER AND SISSY!

OUR 1ST BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT THAT WAS ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 18TH.

THE GIRLS ON THE WAY TO MY COUSIN ROB'S WEDDING RECEPTION.

MINUTES AFTER HOPE LOST HER FIRST TOOTH... BOTTOM FRONT, SHE'S A LITTLE DEVASTATED ABOUT THE WHOLE ORDEAL!

JUST GOT DONE WITH OUR 1ST MEETING WITH HOPE'S NEW TEACHER MRS. ZIEGLER... AND SHE'S HOLDING HER 1ST HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!

THE TOOTH FAIRY CAME AND BROUGHT AND I QUOTE FROM HOPE "A GOLDEN MONEY"! WHICH IS A GOLD DOLLAR COIN. SHE CRIED WHEN SHE PUT THE TOOTH UNDER HER PILLOW THE NIGHT BEFORE, BUT WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THE COIN THE NEXT MORNING! ALSO, SHE WAS SO EXCITED OF THE THOUGHT THAT THE TOOTH FAIRY CAME AND TOUCHED HER PILLOW!!
